Licencee / Director

Hi I am Desiree. I am the Licensee and Director of our centre and have been working in the childcare industry since 1995. I have a Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood, Senior First Aid Certificate, and Certificate IV in Frontline Management. I opened Bees Nees Early Learning in 2005, and have enjoyed watching the children learn and discover in our environment. I am committed to ongoing professional development, and ensuring that the service that we offer to the community is of high quality. I am happily married with two young children, and now I can watch and guide my own childrens development. Being both a mum and a teacher is a very rewarding career! I look forward to meeting you and your family at our centre.

Rachel

Hi I am Rachel. I have been in the childcare industry since 2001 and have been employed at Bees Nees since it opened in 2005. I have a Diploma of Community Services Childrens Services, Certificate IV in Frontline Management, senior first aid certificate, and have attended many in services during this time.
Interests of mine include netball, dancing, and socialising with family and friends. I am really passionate about working with children and get enjoyment from watching the children grow and develop with my and other staffs guidance. I look forward to meeting you when you visit our centre.

Danielle

Hi I am Danielle, and I have been working in the child care industry since 2006. I have a Diploma of Community Services Childrens Services, and a Senior First Aid Certificate. During this time, I have completed several in-services to benefit your childs development in areas such as cognitive learning, creative aspects, documenting, music and movement, childrens safety and school readiness. I strive myself in providing high quality care with a program based on your childs interests, strengths and needs.
My interests are creative experiences such as art and craft, using different mediums that provide a hands on approach, music and movement experiences that allow children to explore percussion, rhythm and body movements. I also enjoy group time experiences, exploring literacy through story telling, and using poetry and drama. I look forward to meeting your family.

Sarah

Hi, Im Sarah and have been working at Bees Nees Early Learning since 2007, and have been working in the childcare industry since 2005. I have a Diploma of Community Services (Childrens Services) and Senior First Aid Certificate.
I like to spend my time doing creative things such as beading and scrapbooking. What I like most about working in childcare is watching the children learn and grow. I enjoy assisting the children develop their skills and interests. I look forward to meeting you at our centre.

Ann-Maree

Hi I'm Ann-Maree. I have been at Bees Nees Early Learning since April 2008. This is when I rejoined the workforce as the youngest of my four children started school that year. I have a Diploma of Community Services (Childrens Services), Senior First Aid certificate, and regularly attend in-services.
My interests include spending time with family and friends, reading, and craft based activities such as scrapbooking. I enjoy the challenge of organising group based activities such as the Bees Nees shopping trip, and Wine tour for parents, staff and friends. I love working in childcare and feel privileged to be able to guide, support and watch the children take part in new experiences and develop the skills that will help them throughout life. I feel that it is important to build relationships not only with the children, but their families and carers as well.

Lizzie

Hi Im Lizzie. I'm the newest member of the Bees Nees team having joined Bees Nees in January 2010. I am currently studying Certificate 3 in Childrens Services. I love watching the children grow and learn new things every day. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am wishing to complete my certificate 3 and then go on and further my studies to become Diploma trained.

Tracey

Hi I'm Tracey and I have been the Clerical Assistant at Bees Nees since its opening in February 2005. I am married with three children; therefore most of my spare time revolves around family. This, at times, can be very hectic but I love it. When I do get a chance to relax I enjoy reading, watching movies, and catching up with friends. I have been involved in administration work, in one way or another, for over 30 years, completing various courses in this time in order to keep up with our changing world.
The thing I like most about the child care industry, and Bees Nees in particular, is that we are helping families. Not only do we provide a great learning foundation for the children in our care, but we are providing a service for parents who either work or just need a well deserved break to balance their lives. As a mum myself, I understand the need for parents to be able to do these things content in the knowledge that their child is being cared for in a safe, friendly, nurturing environment. I am proud to say that I am part of a team at Bees Nees Early Learning that does just that.

Jayne

Hi my name is Jayne. I have been employed at Bees Nees as a cleaner since April 2009. I enjoy cooking, camping, and spending time with my family. I feel it is important for a child to learn and develop in a happy, safe, and friendly environment. I have found that Bees Nees is a wonderful, safe environment for children to learn, grow and develop. I have seen this with my own eyes as our oldest daughter attended Bees Nees when they first opened the doors in 2005. Now my youngest daughter is thriving at Bees Nees with all the nurturing she receives from our team of staff.
