Centre Information

Charlestown East Educational Preschool is a private Child Care Centre in the township of Newcastle. The Preschool has maintained high quality care for both children and families for the past 30 years.

The Centre has a licence for 30 children, we cater for children between 3 years and school. The Service operates to within its determined capacity, mostly due to families support and for their recommendations.

The Centre is structured to meet modern and traditional teaching methods in compliance with the Department of Community Service - Children Service.

The Centre is an approved Centre linked to the government child care benefits (CCB).

The Service is committed to the National Childcare Accreditation Council, (NCAC) managing to support "high quality" care.

The Educational Learning Castle on Dudley Road has a licence for 36 children.

20 children age from 3 years to school.

16 children age from 2 years to 3 years.

The small group size will provide children with diverse learning opportunities in a modern environment

The centre does not cater for babies.

Children

We understand children, even very young children are often more competent, more intelligent, more capable then are perceived or understood .

We provide the learning framework to provide children with experiences and opportunities that encourages them to acquire skills, attitudes and sensitivities that will allow them to make the most of their potential.

Early learning is particularly significant as it lays the foundation for all learning.

Our aim is to provide "our children" the best educational start for kindergarten school.
